First off I'd like to wish the best of luck to the the Icelandic Handball team for their first Olympic appearance. SCOUT!

Unfortunately, none of the BloomNation Olympic Athletes were awarded spots in this years events. Apparently Highway Drinking isn't an internationally recognized sport. However, if you are attending this years games, I'd just like to give you a heads up that your trip to pollution-land... uh... I mean China, may not be as authentic as an Anthony Zimmern experience. First of all, don't bring any of your electronic devices because the Chinese Government will be monitoring and regulating all use of internet and cell phones and they can archive all your information, and they will. Doesn't that remind you of home? At least they probably won't censor RedTube, what a relief.
China is the world capital of unusual land animal consumption and when it comes to exotic meat concoctions, China really does take the meat-cake. But if you were planning to attend the 2008 Summer Olympic Games to feast on man’s best friend, you’ll be disappointed. Chinese officials have announced that canines won’t be offered on menus at specified Olympic restaurants. Dog meat was also banned at the 1988 Games in Seoul, South Korea.
Finally, in case you were wondering what other awesome things you CAN'T do at the Olympics this year, be sure to brush up on the guidelines set by Beijing. In an effort to maintain order at the Games, the Beijing organizing committee has released a list of rules for those attending the events to follow. Attendees are prohibited from spitting, being rude, standing in the seating sections, waving flags of nations other than those competing, and carrying such items as crossbows, daggers, fireworks, guns, radioactive material, laser pointers, and musical instruments.
If you need to find me these next two weeks, I'll be bowhunting with laser guided radioactive firework emitting arrowheads at an NRA sponsored Blue-Grass festival with my fellow tobacco spitting American Olympic boycotter's waving the biggest fucking flag you can buy. Oh, but due check your attitude at the seated section, cause we don't take kindly to rudeness in these parts.
Go Nation.
